What an fabulous fungus! The bit you focussed on in the top image is unlike anything I have every seen before. Almost like you inserted some of your own pen and ink drawing into the picture.
It does have a very graphic feel. I wasn’t sure what results I’d get jamming the lens under it, but I was very pleased with this.
That top photo is awesome, I love it! Def another way of looking at a mushroom & that patterns are great :)
