DO NOT LEAVE MIRRORS ON A KNICK-KNACK TREE IN THE FOREST WHEN THE FIRE HAZARD IS SO HIGH IT’S ILLEGAL TO MOW YOUR LAWN

Don’t leave mirrors in the forest at ANY time. Or ANY kind of glass. It might not be a tinderbox when you do, but it will be one in summer. THINK, dammit.

And yes, I took it away.

  1. Glad you saw that and dealt with it. People do things without realizing the consequences, but even without the fire risk, if this mirror fell and shattered which is something most people could figure out, it wouldn’t be good for the forest in so many ways. My friend’s hedge caught fire and burned earlier this year – no cause was found, but it was probably the bright sun on a piece of glass in the dead stuff under the hedge that caused the blaze. Fortunately my friends were home and neighbours came running to help, otherwise it wouldn’t have been just the hedge that burned.
